Recently i read a article about Ikea changing it font from Futura to Verdana and it cause fans/designer to fume over it......but does font really matter in design.....for the vast majority they would not even notice the difference between the two type of font.....
And and once heard that the font comic san that i used to use is one of the worst font created ever.....why is it so???

every single thing needs a breath of fresh air, especially branding
Just do a google search and u will notice alot of the big brands goes through this stage every 20-30 years
Try coca cola.. cnb news etc
